During my last years of studies I experimented with video editing making home videos. This allowed me to collaborate in several low-budget projects of different formats such as MUSIC VIDEOS, short films and documentaries.
During my training at ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia in Spain), I have participated in more than a dozen short films. Several of them were awarded and selected by many festivals around the globe, such as ‘ALIRÓN’ (XXXI Girona Film Festival, XVII FESCIGU Festival de Cine Solidario de Guadalajara & IV Premis CPAC, among others), ‘ENCONTRARNOS’ (La Balade des Courts 2020, New York Istanbul Short Film Festival 2021 & XIX UWPG Film Festival 2021, among others) and ‘ATÓPICA’ (XXXII Festival de Cine l'Alfas del Pi, BARCIFF Barcelona Indie Filmmakers Festival 2020 & XI Cerdanya Film Festival).
As a video editor and later as a post-production coordinator, I worked in TV COMMERCIALS and DIGITAL marketing campaigns for big brands. It is worth mentioning the brand activism side: the case study ‘AN UNREPEATABLE PHOTOGRAPHY?’ (Trapa) was awarded in national and international creative festivals, such as CdeC Club de Creativos de España 2019, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Sol Festival Iberoamericano 2019 and Cannes Lions 2019, among others.
In parallel, I have actively participated in fiction projects including the feature film ‘LA FILLA D’ALGÚ’ awarded at the XXI Festival de Málaga Cine en Español, III Barcelona Film Festival and XVII Premis Gaudí by the Catalan FIlm Academy , and the short film ‘NO APTO PARA MENORES’ awarded at Magic Mystery Film Festival (USA), Crime Story Film Fest (USA) and Genre Celebration (Japan), among others, which was also nominated for best editing at the FESTBOI International Short Film Festival 2020 and at the Primavera Film Festival Barcelona 2020.
I currently work as a freelance with Artists, Agencies and Production Companies in Spain, UK, France, Germany, Poland, Ireland, USA and Australia, still working in this variety of content but lately focusing in CASE STUDIES.
Also, along with other freelance, I work on short FILMS and documentaries, most of them still making their way through festival distribution, such as the short films ‘PERDONA, ESTAVA DORMINT’ and ‘I’M BACK BABY’ or the activist documentary ‘ÚLTIMA MILLA’.
I started in photography in a self-taught way, and after experimenting with filmmaking in home videos and travel videos. Later I went on to collaborate in more collective projects such as making-ofs, short films, videobooks and fan-movies.
Currently I am filmmaking in the musical and theatrical field with different Artists and in parallel I experiment with my own musical project.
Among many projects some of them stand out like ‘OYE SIRI, DIME JOAN’ by Joan Natzari, a comedy play that uses the audiovisual to represent a digital character and in the musical field ‘GOMAS PARA EL PELO’, a video clip for the presentation of the band La China Lina.
I had an early and unpretentious contact with music. In that stage of experimentation I wrote 3 EPs co-produced with other artists and producers of underground Hip-Hop and Rap music.
For 7 years I have been experimenting new ways of writing, composing and producing music, mixing a diversity of musical genres and influences. In 2019 came out 'ALOLARGODELRASTRO', first self-produced EP, in lyric and composition, with Hip-Hop rhythmic fusing with Jazz, Rock and Blues tonality in the instrumental. In the writing, a much more poetic form and in lyrics riding between Rap, Trap and R&B.
I build new projects like ‘12LUNAS’, I discover new forms of poetry and literature and I experiment the mixture of music and audiovisuals on my own. I also participate as a music compositor in short films like 'ALIRÓN' getting nominated for best original soundtrack at the FESTBOI International Short Film 2019..
